Janine is on a distinguished road

Default The blues

Two weeks post tummy tuck and I'm feeling a bit down about the whole thing. I've read this is normal but it sucks. My doctor checked me out today and said my belly button seems slow in healing. Of course I went right home and started researching and scaring myself. Phrases like poor blood supply and gangrene kept popping up. Yikes. I overdid it a bit on fathers day and have been paying for it with increased tummy soreness and tightness ever since. I need to settle down. I thought I was prepared for how extensive this healing would be but I guess I'm still surprised. Feeling wimpy.

Default the blues

Hi

It is four weeks since I had my tummy tuck and I am feeling much better I am careful not to lift anything which I feel is too heavy otherwise my tum will let me know! Its early days for you yet and I found resting helped. I too felt low at times as generally I am a busy person and found I had to slow down which is frustrating. Pamper and look after yourself.
