Hello everyone,
I am wondering if anyone else has ever been told that tighting the separated tummy muscles durning a TT would increase chances of blood clots, trouble breathing and pneumonia? Also has anyone ever NOT had their belly button replaced?

No it is not like that. there is 1 out of 100 chances of blood clot after tummy tuck surgery. but before undergoing the surgery it is important to have some info so that you may be able to understand the basic of the surgical procedures and could carry out a balance diet after the surgery. Most important thing after the surgery is not to gain much weight so that your tummy remains as it is...!!!

Usually the belly button does get replaced. I was put on blood thinners for 10 days after surgery to prevent blood cots as I was not mobile for those days.. I mean i was mobile but majority of my time i was sitting in the chair. I had my muscles tighten and I am fine....FYI- I would recommend researching out another surgeon. My surgeon was Dr,. Yarinksi from Saratoga Plastic Surgeons in Saratoga, NY. He is awesome and tells you excately what to expect. Everything he told me was the truth. I hope this helps.
