Seroma and open wound after TT
 

Hi and thanks in advance for responding. I'm almost 4 weeks postop. Last Friday my incision reopened about an inch so I went to the ER and was told that this is from a seroma. They did not close the wound stating it had to heal from the inside out. I have no infection but they put me on antibiotics proactively. This opening is about the size of a nickel. Has anyone experienced this? If so, how long did this take to fully close. Can I do some mild walking while I heal? I'm still very swollen and concerned about permanent pockets of swelling. Thanks
