Hi,
As I have been researching plastic surgeons in the Los Angeles area, I notice quite a few advertise "Fly In" service. These doctors have protocols for patients who want to fly in from out of town for plastic surgery. Some doctors recommend staying in the area for 14 days. Has anyone done this, and would you recommend it?

I actually just did this. I'm only 5 days post op from an extended TT and flew into Tallahassee FL all the way from Okinawa Japan to have mine done. (My family and I are stationed there with the military). My surgeon was very helpful and I have done phone consults and emails back and forth with them for almost three months before I finally set a date to have it done.

I am also flying into MS from Japan, but we are stationed up north in Misawa. My surgery is scheduled for February and the surgeon has suggested I stay in the States for 6 weeks after to recover before I fly back.
