My tummy tuck is tomorrow! It looks like no one has posted on this thread for a while, but I thought I'd give this a try. Tomorrow morning I am having a tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift. Anyone have any advice to give? Tips they wish they had known going into the surgery or right afterward? |
wow, how did it go, I am having a tummy tuck and breast lift and implants in a week. so so nervous!!!! |
How did it go?! I haven't had a TT yet but need one asap. My friend had one and she was in crazy pain afterwards. How are you doing now? |
Two posters above that just had a tummy tuck. Let us know how it went! :) |
Hello, I know ur post is old, but I AM YOU, 2 yrs. later. I go in on Frida, for both a mini T/T & breast implants. I am very nervous having them done at same time. I plan on not taking mucb time off of work, since I am at a new job, but have a desk job. What do you think? Any ideas on what I can expect? What is the proper clothing to wear to work whike healing?? |
Welcome to the forum!!! :D A mini tummy tuck is much less pain than a full tummy tuck. Be thankful for that. As far as your question, you will be swollen for a few days after the mini t/t/ surgery. This is normal. You will also be in pain for about 2 weeks. You will have swelling from 2 to 6 weeks. Your bandages will have to be changed in 2 to 5 days. Your sutures will be removed in 7 to 10 days. You can return to working at a desk job in loose comfortable clothing in about a week or week and a half. Breast implants can be very painful post op. How are they "installing" :) your implants? Over or under the muscle? Under the muscle looks more natural, but is more painful when healing. :( Pain lasts one to two weeks. There will be swelling, numbness, and bruising as well. Wait 2 to 4 weeks to exercise. If you get implants below the muscle you have to wait one or two weeks to go back to work at a desk job, depending on how you feel. Over the muscle, one week should be sufficient. I am just providing you with some basic guidelines. Let me know if you need any more info. I'd be happy to help. Good luck to you!!! :) |
