Hiccups after surgery???
 

Hi all! I'm new here and 2 days post-op from TT surgery, lipo on hips, butt, flanks, thighs and knees.
Are hiccups and burping after surgery part of the healing? LOL Every time I drink water I've been hiccuping! Just about 6 or 7 times and then it stops

i've known hiccups to be a reaction to anesthesia, but 2 days post-op, I'd think they'd be gone. I bet they're uncomfortable after having a TT! I wouldn't be too concerned overit unless they last for longer than a week or so. :Cat:

Hiccups and burps both makes you feel uncomfortable while you have tummy tuck done, you should talk to your surgeon for this. If it stays longer may be there is some problem so surgeon concern is must.

i would guess that your hiccups are normal for a tummy tuck after a few days, but definitely contact your doctor and just check in to see if it's anything serious or not. from my experience, it's always best to catch problems while they are small before they potentially grow into a big problem!
