Has anyone ever had a tummy tuck with MR and managed it with just Tylenol 3 (Codeine)? My doctor says she will use a pain pump which will shoot lidocaine into the muscle every so often for the first two days. She says this really helps just numb the area. I hate PAIN MEDS. I am not really scared of the surgery as much as I am the after effects. I was just wondering everyone's experiences...and what pain meds they used and how they felt.

I had breast augmentation 6 years ago and never took anything but tylenol.

I'm sure I will have tons more questions....

Hi! Had tt 2 days ago and decided against the pain pump. I had implants 12 years ago and like you I used just Tylenol. I will say that I have taken 1/2 a percocet twice and used 2 extra strength tylenol the rest of the time so far. Pain isn't as bad as I thought but I am very sore

I had pain pump also stayed on top of pain med, was given percocet. So never felt the pain was sore and very hard to get around...
