Default Tummy Tuck in 2 days!

Hi everyone!
I probably should have posted here sooner, but I'm having my tummy tuck in 2 days! I'm excited and nervous! For those of you who have already had a tummy tuck, I would love to hear any last minute advice on things to have around for my recovery, or anything that helped you during your recovery. I am 5'5 and 159 lbs. I was hoping to be around 150 by my surgery, but I am within 10 lbs, so I am happy with that, considering I got up to 210 the last time I was pregnant (that was 6 years ago, but I have the stretch marks to show it!) Thanks!

Question Maria

Hi there I am so greatful to find this site I'm not a real techy. I lucked up and found this site while looking for info on swelling after surgery. I had my surgery Feb 25 so I'm almost 3 weeks out. I am very satisfied with my results as well as the price. However Im not getting alot of after care support. The first night was the worst the effects of the anesthesia was all I remember. I stayed in bed 5 days, drove by day ten went back to work by day 18. The swelling started after driving alot on day 12. In the morning I'm fine, by the end of the day im experiencing some swelling. The swelling is near the top part of my stomach no swelling near the scar. The info I found on this site has relieved me of some of my worrry regarding swelling . I'm looking to purchase a better binder any tips? has anyone heard of a cream called Traumamil, I understand it helps with swelling.

Red face Newbie here ...

I am having my mini TT and scar revision on April 21st at 10:00 a.m.

I am going shopping in a few minutes to get the things I am going to need for after my surgery. I do have a question ... I have a lap top and I usually place it on my stomach. Any idea what I can use so it won't lay on my tummy?

Oh .... I know!! One of those children's Portable Lap Tray that has the side pockets!!

I am so excited. I can't wait for Thursday

Gotta go shopping ....

Hi, I had my tt on Tuesday ... Have some throat lozenges bc your throat is going to hurt and it helps a lot and something else you don't have to deal with... Also if you have have someone with you for a long as you can will be good ...not as painful as I thought but uncomfortable ...have tons of pillows!
