Tummy tuck one week post op, was I an idiot to do this?! So..I'm about one week post op, day 8 of recovery from my Tummy Tuck. I'm feeling like a complete idiot for putting myself through this. My pain isn't bad to be honest. I still have both drains, which are bothersome, but not painful at all. I am just full of anxiety!! I'm scared to death about getting those drains out. I'm wondering why on earth I CHOSE to do this!! I am not a vain person..I just lost over 100 lbs and had a ton of sagging skin. Should I have just left well enough alone?? |
Hi there, I'm 3 1/2 weeks and this is the best thing I could have ever done for myself. I have swelling thats driving me crazy, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel. I'm feeling better and never second guessed my decision. I'm sorry you're feeling this way today . I've read that there may be a period of doubt . It seems that you have worked really hard to loose 100 pounds, congrads!!!!!! Now get ready to enjoy your new body!! When I look in the mirror I am grateful . I hope and pray you feel better soon peace and blessings! |
May 2 Full TT counting days finally decided to go ahead with it. Been wanting this for over 10 yrs now. I'm having so many emotions over this. I've been excited, scared, sad, guilty etc. Normally I don't spend money 0n myself and I am always the one caring for others. I want this so much but I have a hard time not feeling selfish as it is a big expense and I'm going to need to be taken care of afterwards. Anyone else out there with an upcoming surgery scheduled? Anyone with before and after photos to share? Thanks! |
