Hello, I am 36 and have two children. My youngest is 2 (and a mommy's girl). I am schedule for a brest lift and a tt in Feb but unsure if I should do both procedures. I have stuggled with my weight my entire life. I finally got the weight off after the birith of my second and last child. I have been working out with a trainer for the past year and a half and am in the best shape I have ever been in. I am 5' 6" and weigh 140lbs and am a size 6. With all of my success I still hate the look of my tummy. With the saggy skin and my muscles that have seperated due to pregnancy I would never wear a bikini. I feel to some degree I am being selfish since I won't be able to pick up my daughter during the recovery. I know I have heard so many different degree of pain from these posts but my hope is that I would really sleep if off for the first 2 days and then hopefully be able to have my daughter sit on my lap starting day 3. If you have any feedback please let me know. Also I am going to have to get her out of her crib at day 6 post op. Again, she is 2 so my hope she wil be able to jump into my arms more so but do you all think this is do-able? Also does anyone out there regret their decision. I fear that I am going to hate the scar. Anyone out there have the same issues?

I am day 3 post op from my TT, and I also have young kids, ages 3 and 1 1/2. There is no way I could have an active toddler on my lap at this point. The 3 yr old would most likely understand she needed to be gentle (although I'v decided not to tell her exactly what I've done for fear she'll tell everyone she meets, LOL). But my toddler, forget about it! I'm not in a ton of pain today, but I need regular doses of Vicodin to deal with the pain, which tends to make me sleepy. I'm very lucky in that both my parents are retired and tending to the kids for the fist 2 weeks. In fact, I was able to leave them with my parents for the first week while I recovered at home (my husband also took off work). Do you have anyone to help with the kids? I really think you'll need it for a minimum of one week. and I was told not to lift anything for 2 weeks, so that's why I have my mom helping. Good luck!
