| stiletto | 12-23-2010 07:14 AM | I just had one Nove 19 along with breast lift and aug. I don't know if you'll be able to go to registration the next day. Walking wasn't the easiest thing to do. If you can register online, I would do that. As far as pain, everyone is different. A friend and myself had our surgeries on the same day. She was nauseous teh ffirst 3 days. I told the anethesiologist I get dizzy and motion sick easily so he gave me extra meds and a patch that lasted for 3 days. I highly recommend doing that regardless of how easy you get motion sick. Have tons of pillows to prop you up when you rest/sleep. Keep a log of when and how much of your meds you take. I did that and my friend didn't, she had more pain issues than I did because she would go through the night without taking her meds. Set your alarm, you're off work and going to be resting most of the time anyway. Sneezing. laughing, and coughing are going to suck. Hug a pillow, brace yourself, or find a different way around all three of those.
I hope this helped. |
