Vaginal spotting 2 weeks post-op TT
 

I had a TT, Lipo and fat transfer the the breasts 2.5 weeks ago. all seems to be coming along as expected. However, 2 weeks post-op I've noticed a little spotting every once in a while when I wipe after urinating. I am post menapausal and haven't had a peried for 1.5 years. I do know that it's possible to have some swelling and bruising in the pelvic area but, from what I can see I don't have either at least externally. Maybe they mean it would be internally.

Has anyone else had this experience post-op from the TT?

My problem turned out to be a UTI. After 2 weeks post-op, I had started spending a little time in my friend's pool because the weightlessness felt good on my stomach and lower back. Well, I guess it wasn't such a good idea. I'll stick with floating in the bathtub!

I don't usually get UTIs but it could have been from having been on antibiotics after the surgery. I had eaten a lot of yogurt to keep from getting a yeast infection but I suppose it didn't stop me from getting a UTI. Live and Learn!
