To answer your question about scar treatment, my surgeon gave me Kelo-Cote. It's silicone too, I think, but it's a gel you spread on very thinly. It got really good reviews on Amazon. Another one I'd be willing to try is ScarAway. It also got great reviews on Amazon.

I hope your surgery went well. Were they able to lower your scar on the right side? When my PS did the scar rervision she said she was going to bring down my scar... she didnt.

Most of my skin is numb on my stomach. But it was that way even before the surgery. When I was pregnant with my twins I lost the feeling because my skin was stretched so thin.

My lipo went well. It's definately a much easier recovery than the full TT. When I had my TT the PS also fixed my herniated bellybutton so he made it very small. I can barely get my pinky into it. I didn't have twins but I had a 9.5 lb baby which destroyed the skin on my belly since I'm only 5'1" and 100 lbs. I didn't end up with stretch marks, I ended up with elephant skin all over my belly.

Anyway, I'm not going to have the skin tightening/scar revision until the swelling goes down in a few months. I'll let you know how it turns out at that time.

Surgery is in a few weeks and i would like to know how long it took people before they could stand up straight. Having company a few weeks post surgery and would like to be able to not look sick

It's been a year now since my first surgery! My tummy looks great. But my scar is still there and very visible. Not as thin and light as some others Ive seen.

My stomach looks like I am 3 months pregnant. I had my tt on Feb 15, 2012 it is now March 28, 2012. After about 3 weeks my stomach got really round. My ps said he thought my stitches came loose in my muscle and I would have to have surgery again. What should I do? I am very scared about all of this but very unhappy with my tummy tuck.
