| is $17,000 too much? Hi everyone,
I'm back with another question and while some may not be able to help or offer an opinion I'm hoping someone can.
As mentioned in a previous forum I'm looking to do a BA with a lift and tummy tuck w/ lipo. I've been to 3 consultations thus far and all 3 are excellent but the work from the first surgeon sticks out the most in my mind.
He's really gifted and is asking for approx. $17k for all procedures (separate procedures were quoted @ $21k). I may not need a lift which may knock off $2-3k but he's still REALLY expensive.
My question is, how much is TOO MUCH to pay for all of these procedures??? I've read that as a patient I should eliminate the highest and the lowest estimates but I'd like feedback from those who have gone thru similar procedures.
Thanks in advance for any feedback/opinions. |

| There will always be doctors cheaper and more expensive... don't make your decisions on price alone |

| Utilizing price as your determining factor is a bad decision, as la_angel stated.
Whether the price is low (oh it's cheap) or high (must be a great surgeon) is not the way to decide.

| I had a TT, lipo and fat transfer to the breasts and it was $18k. If I had implants rather than the fat transfer(a longer more difficult procedure), it would have been $16k. I did not have a lift. |

| I just had the lift with augmentation and a tummy tuck with overnight stay (no lipo) for just over $13,000 in Ohio.
I know there were a few docs that were cheaper, but this was the one I liked the most....and I felt the most comfortable with her. |
