If you decide to use him for the surgery, does the $100 get applied to the total cost? Let's be honest, when your total is arrived upon $100 isn't going to do much to that grand number, but it is the principle, and contributes to good doctor-patient courtesy. Also, a lot of times, when docs claim the consult fee will be taken off, they raise the price slightly, as to not lose any $$$.
Did you find him on the internet? In my opinion, this is not the way to choose docs. Do you know anyone else who has had any plastic surgery, in particular a thigh lift? Do you belong to any other plastic surgery sites and.or forums? Are you willing to travel? Why are you getting this surgery? Have you ever had any type of plastic surgery in the past? I can go on and on, but these are basic and important issues you need to take into consideration.
The first thigh lift pic on his site looks like a vast improvement. The other two, especially the second are highly specialized skewed cases. He also seems to do many, many types of surgeries, which would make me steer clear personally. Like I always say, no one can be an expert at everything.
Do not allow surgeon's educations and places of residency impress you. Maybe they didn't get into the school and/or complete their education in a traditional fashion. If the Dean of the University knew the doc's daddy, a donation was made, or some other twisted arrangement, people can get into highly impressive institutions and graduate successfully with little work. Do not allow this to be one of your major deciding factors. A lot has to do with patience, experience, skill, and although I usually do not say this, it's true ... talent.
His pics are very small on his site. I do not like the way his site looks, although it operates fairly well.
HE also needs a new pic of himself. Just a side note ... what's up with plastic surgeons and bad hair, no hair, hair plugs, wigs, toupees ...?
