Default Face creams - which one is best?

I use Oil of Olay total effects and seems to be doing its job.

Default 30 and have skin of a child!

Ok so I have my skin regimen down! and boy does it work for real. I always get that i have the skin of a child.

I use Dr. Murad face scrub twice a week at night. gets rid of dead cells BUT by only doing it twice a week u let your skin retool itself after being rubbed off. so the other days i use just an ordinary gentle foaming cleanser. I suggest only washing your face at night as not too over do it and night is perfect because then u apply your night cream and it will have all those hours to work.

I first put on the new olay regenerist micro sculpting cream. u massage it in an upward pattern thuroughly. i let that soak in for a couple of minutes and then i put on Loreal wrinkle decrease night time. This is veryyyy thick and is great for making sure the skin stays moist and thick. i am not a firm believer in the whole peeling thing..... as long as u keep it very moist, u should not get wrinkles. over peeling will just thin out your skin.

Default .....oh and.....

don't forget to clench your jaw and smile while rubbing in the night lotions so u can better rub it in and on the right contours.

also, don't forget to brush your lips!!!!! and then put on a lot of carmex too to soak in all night. (carmex for day is too shiny)

Any reputable brand face cream should do the trick. If you can afford it of course go for the department store (Clinique, etc) but I'm sure any high end drug store face cream does just fine. They basically all do the same thing and that's moisturize.

AND everything in your other point? Okay no offense here but I'm a guy I just can't handle all that! Hell it's a challenge for me to remember to put on a simple cream at night! I need an all in one face cream type of deal.

But yeah let's keep the fact I use a face cream at all on the d/l hehe

I use Oil of Olay a lot for my general 'all purpose' face cream. I get a lot of snide comments from others on it but I really don't think it's a bad product. It may be cheaper but it works great and I've used them all. Right now I just use the Oil of Olay regenerist and the total effects creams I switch on and off between the two after a month of using one. Loreal makes a great cream too but it is more. If budget is a problem I say Oil of Olay is good to go with!

I picked up some new stuff at the drugstore since it was on sale so I thought oh why not? It's Roc night skin cream that contains retinol. Seems to be doing the trick so far but I've only been using it a week. I suppose I'll see if it works wonders enough for me to not switch back to my brand I've been using for over a decade.

I think a lot of it is just marketing. There's no big difference between the major brands of cosmetic skin creams. Oil of Olay, Aveeno, etc all the same. They all use the same ingredients and all do the same thing which is just moisturize the skin. Same goes for department store lines. Did you know that over 75% of their cosmetic creams are owned either by L'Oreal or Estee Lauder?
