i always though this was just an old wives tale but this is what i just read that sleeping on your side does create fold lines that eventually turn into permanent wrinkles if repeated night after night. sleeping on your back does the opposite by helping to counter the effects of gravity from the day when you're upright. some japanese researches said that in a study of 38 men and women there was more wrinkling in the afternoon than the morning. during the day your face basically just falls with the gravity throughout the day so night time is the only opportunity you have to try and reverse it.
this really sucks because i can never sleep on my back no matter how hard i try i always end up on my side.

any recommendations on how to sleep on your back if it's not the normal way you sleep? not even sleeping pills do it for me so i don't know how to change the way i sleep.
