Vaseline Creates Skin Whitening App for Facebook India
 

I saw this on the news a few weeks ago (I think it was CNN). I guess it's causing quite an uproar here in the states, but IMO I don't see what the fuss is all about.

The fuss is the focus on lightening ones skin to improve appearance/attractiveness. the experts were stating that it puts the Indian people in a bad position where they are attempting to achieve an unnatural skin tone vs. what they were born with. It also tells them lighter skin is better. :(
