Question Keloid Specialists - Who's Best?

It's hard finding doctors that specialize in dealing with keloid scars. Which specialists are the absolute best for this procedure? Are there any new treatments out there for this that only some doctors are using?

And is there anyone out there that guarantees their keloid removal surgery? Like they will do a free revision if it comes back?

The thing that's important to remember about keloid removal surgery is that it's like the flip of a coin. You have around a 50% chance they will grow back. If you're going to do surgery you need to keep that in mind and try and work out like you mentioned. I would try and work out an arrangement that you would get free revisions (except for the operating room/anesthesia fee) if repeat surgery is necessary.

I'm sorry to hear about your dilemma. I don't have keloids but I can only imagine how awful it must be to deal with. But remember each of us have our own flaws we deal with even if you don't see them. So don't feel singled out because trust me we ALL have problems.
