| Why do you specify Dr. Lancer? Why not review several surgeons? Are you more than a prospective patient of Lancer's? Environment is only one part of the surgeon review process, and one of the least important components in my opinion.

True, there are other specialists are there and I'm currently researching other candidates. Do you happen to have any recommedations? | Excellent credentials are a positive factor, however, do not allow yourself to be blinded by them. Expertise, skill, experience, legitimate and verifiable patient testimony, as well as word of mouth are much more important.

| Dr. Lancer has many years of experience in his field. Plus, I previously mentioned about Dr. Ash Dutter who is the founder of the Aesthetic Beauty Centre in the UK. I spoke with him on the phone and he's a specialist in scar treatments, as well as hair transplants and he's very good at what he does. I'm also seriously considering going there for a consulation as well. And in answer to your question, I will go anywhere I have to.
By the way, here is Dr. Dutter's info:
Aesthetic Beauty Centre
The Old Vicarage
4 Grainer Park Road
Newcastle NE4 8DP
Telephone number: 0191 5672900 http://www.aestheticbeautycentre.co.uk/
Do you know of any specialists yourself? |

| Hi,
I have a sunken scar on the side of my cheek. I got this when I was a toddler crawling around on the floor and I accidentally turned my head too suddenly and hit my cheek on the frame of my parents' bed. It left several stitches and it resembles an acne scar, except that its in the form of a line. I understand that collagen injection help in cases like this, but the effects are only temporary. Are there other permanent treatments for sunken scars? |
