Biocompatibility

What is Dental Biocompatibility?

ayden 06-05-2012 02:29 AM

Biocompatibility refers to the types of materials placed in your mouth during a dental procedure.Biocompatible materials will be as neutral as possible, and NOT cause adverse allergic reactions or negative responses from your immune system. We are able to test different materials to find which ones are most agreeable (i.e. biocompatible) with your body.
Biocompatibility does not mean that we sacrifice any of the cosmetic or quality elements in dental procedures. In fact, just the opposite is true. The beauty and strength of bonded porcelain has long been recognized as a superior material for dental restorations.
