Bump on chin - seeking advice
 

Hello. I'm a 25 yr old male. I've had this bump on my chin for over 6-7 years now. It's a leftover from a pimple I just couldn't stop picking on. It's soft and there's nothing under it. I already had a small surgical operation to remove it but it was half successful as you can see in the picture below. Original bump was dead in the middle, like a small button. Being an obsessed person, with my appearance among other things, I just can't take my mind off of it. I have some questions that need answering before consulting a plastic surgeon.

- How successful would another procedure be? I know not much can be said before a physical examination but anything helps.

- I was told there would be risks that the bump might become worse/misshapen than it already is. How accurate is this? This is one of the main reasons I'm having second doubts.

- Is there anything special I should be aware of while choosing a plastic surgeon if I decide to get another operation done?
