 scar across my nose
i have a 3cm scar down my nose. i had 11 stitches put in by a plastic surgeon. after getting the stitches out i have used scaraway silicon sheets for 6.5 weeks now. the outer edges were slightly raised and bumpy but the silicon sheets have helped to flatten the edges. the inside or middle of the scar is sunken or depressed. I believe the medical term is atrophic. how can i treat the atrophic area? will using a derma roller help?
the scar is also discolored in the middle - how can i treat that?
any tips would be appreciated.
