damaged skin after rhynoplasty: how to help ? 1 Attachment(s) Hi, After my first rhynoplasty 3.5 years ago I have damaged skin that looks like.. hollow, deep, cavity..((( looks like atrophic scar. I've had second nose job 1 month ago, but my Dr. told that it is nothing to help with my skin, and it is still looking bad.. What can I do to treat it? Fraxel?? Or maybe any procedure you can suggest? I'm attaching a pic of my nose, hopefully it will be visible on this low-quality pic what is my problem.. Thanks in advance:) |
Do you have a better picture? That can definitely help to assess ther issue, as well as to arrive at the best treatment options for your situation. |

Skin was damaged by removal of too many cartilage.. revision has been performed, but skin is not good and it seems like nose is curved and looks like two asymmetrical ugly holes.. How do you think Fraxel procedures may help? |

Is it actually scarring or hollow areas in your nose indicating revised bone structure? |
It's atrophic scar.. skin is retracted.. drawed.. |
Scar treatment can be tricky, depending on what type of scar you have. Mr. Z might be able to steer you in the right direction, or if you would like, feel free to PM me. |
I have heard of filler being used for indented scars on the nose, but I don't personally know anyone that has had that treatment done. I would be *super cautious* because the last thing you would want is to damage the delicate tissue with a needle and filler. |
