Last spring I was given a cesarean section when giving birth to my twin boys and would like to know if a C section scar revision will work for me. It is not the normal one but a vertical incision. I have 3 complaints about it

1. The scar is a little raised and bumpy.
2. It has some red discoloration on it that has faded but is still there, but darker.
3. Unless I wear a one piece bathing suit it can always be seen. If he would have done the regular C section this wouldn’t have happened but he insisted the vertical was needed for safety. I think he did it for fear of getting sued but that is neither here nor there.

I have not used any scar remover creams or tapes because he said it wouldn’t help. Is that true? If I can use a product and avoid more surgery that would be great! But if I do get C section scar revision would there be any way to do it so the scars will be hidden when I wear a two-piece?
