This was totally shocking to see Under The Knife show on E! tonight. The doctor was doing liposuction and he seemed like he totally was not paying attention to the patient. He seemed more concerned about talking to the camera than the patient. This is why I would never go on a TV show to get surgery!

The doctors just pay attention to the cameras and not enough to the patient who needs 100% full attention especially with complicated things like noses!

I agree, however, I am sure you are aware of all these docs that want publicity and quick fame. Caveat emptor!!!

Moreover, I question the motivations of the patients which agree to participate in these publicity stunts. During the tenure of Dr. 90210, the surgeons on the show offered their patients little to no discounts to participate. One fellow surgeon I know was only offering a 15% discount for patients which agreed to have their rhinoplasty televised for the show. In the grand scheme of things that is peanuts considering that the patient's private life is exposed for the public to see.
