I am looking for people to interview in the New York City metro area who have recently had plastic surgery in order to improve or boost their income or career and who took a financial risk to do so, even in this down economy. This is for a news segment video at a major media outlet.
You must have had some kind of measurable result like a promotion, pay raise, or other factor showing financial/career improvement. This is a consumer finance story so you need to be comfortable discussing the psychological impact it has had on you, as well as your financials: how much you were making before, how much the surgery cost you total, how you weighed costs/benefits, how you paid for the surgery, and how (if) your financial life/prospects has improved after the surgery.*
Also, if you have had a bad plastic surgery result that damaged your career and are now paying off a significant debt, I am interested in speaking with you as well.
I am looking for a range of sources (men and women) in a variety of careers, preferably outside the entertainment business.
