| crack the bone in hip to make it smaller I have seen on forum said that there is a procedure shown on TV once that crack the inside of the hip and take out bone of the hip, and then lastly make the hip close again to make the skeleton of the hip smaller. I have no way to find this surgery. My skeleton is too large and I wanna have my hip and shoulder bone smaller.
also, is there any surgeries that can also crack the bone of the shoulder and the rib cage to make it smaller?
Anyone really see it on TV?? I ask on that forum but no one elaborate on that TV show. Or anyone know this procedure? I know it is not a conventional procedure, but please help |

| Welcome to the forum edith!!!
I saw something about this on television about three years ago. The surgeon cracked the inner portion of the hip on both sides, and then removed a portion of the bone. He then reassembled the hip to make it smaller in size.
This is a very non conventional surgery. I do not know anyone who has had it done, nor do I have any additional information.
For a smaller waist you can remove ribs. I have never heard of anyone getting shoulder surgery to make their frame smaller.

| The tv show took place somewhere in South America. The doctor was from somewhere in Asia. Sorry to be so vague, but I saw the show about three years ago. I will ask some of my colleagues if they remember this program, or have additional information about this procedure.

| edith,
I asked around and a few of my colleagues recalled viewing the program. Most remembered it as it is such a nonconventional surgery. No one was able to give me any further info. Sorry.

| Trust me a cracked pelvis is not something you want. It messes up everything with the nerves down there. |

| I saw a story about Amanda Lepore allegedly undergoing this procedure recently, for obvious reasons.
