Banishing Back Fat One of my colleagues showed me a Norwegian program about an interesting procedure. Here is some info I was able to get online: Banishing Back Fat - New Plastic Surgery Technique Eliminates Rolls (GALLERY) "Between 2001 and 2007, seven patients had the back lift surgical procedure completed—all had positive feedback. During the initial procedure, skin for about 8 to 10 inches wide is removed and the remaining tissues are connected. The back lift procedure takes about an hour. 22 months after the surgery, patients must come back in for a follow-up." I'm not sure if this is FDA approved. |
Interesting... but wouldn't this leave a 8 to 10 inch scar on the back if the skin is cut out? If so, I think sticking with the back fat would be a much better option! |
Lipo seems more promising, when appropriate (i.e.: patient is in proper weight range). |
I totally agree, and the lipo incisions could probably be hidden quite well under the armpits. |
