Plastic Surgery TV: Therapeutic or Trivial?

I agree they can be dangerous for a portion of the population. For others, it's just entertainment

But one thing that is always deceiving is how they only show the results a few weeks or a couple months after surgery... that's not an accurate representation of the results! I would love to see them two years after to find out if they ended up with the desired results or not.

The docs on these shows seem less than attentive to patient concerns. They seem preoccupied with self-promotion, advertisement, and their own agendas. Less than professional if you ask me.
