| which surgeons perform celebrity rhinoplasties? such as angelina jolie, blake lively, zac efron and scarlett johansson. they all had nose jobs, but no one would be able to tell unless you carefully analyzed before and after pictures.
does any one know where celebrities go for rhinoplasty surgeries? these surgeons pay attention to detail and they only make slight changes that make a big difference for one's appearance (which is the kind of surgeon i need, because my nose only needs slight improvement).
if you know any info at all about these surgeons, please tell me. thank you very much! |

| There are a number of different "celebrity rhinoplasty surgeons" in certain parts of the country, mainly LA and NYC. But be wary of ones that claim to do celebrities... the best ones don't need to publicize this. |

| May I ask a follow up, to those who answered this thread (some months ago)?
Can you generalize, without revealing details? Are these "celebrity" plastic surgeons part of some secret cabal that can be accessed only by people with connections? Are their fees commensurate with clients driving Jaguars and Aston Martins? Or are we talking about workaday plastic surgeons, charging industry standard fees, who also happen to do celebrities? |

| Frank Ryan, Hoefflin, and Kanodia are a couple. FYI going to them does not guarantee you a perfect result. Kanodia did great on ashlee but not so great on cameron diaz and ashley tisdale. |

| Like prodigiousflames stated above, just because they work on celebrities does not deem the surgeon the best and/or the right doc for you. I have seen some recent work done by Kanodia (on celebrities as well as some of my colleagues) and the results were less than perfect.

| Norm,
The celeb docs mentioned in this thread do see everyday people, but yes, they have inflated prices. Not very everyday people friendly.

| Thank you -- this is all good information. Higher prices does not necessarily equate to better quality, is the takeaway I'll focus on. That's some reassurance. |

| A lot of times these docs have a lot of overhead so they can create spa-like atmospheres, have multiple assistants, serve organic and/or gourmet food and drink to their "guests" or "visitors" (we know the word as patients ), glossy advertisements, extensive radio ads, etc.
I have personally heard some celebrity docs say if they charge more and can present themselves in a way that their office seems superior, patients think they will get better results. Laughable, in my opinion. A lot of docs take themselves way too seriously, and they think if they do, others will as well.
I will admit it is nice to go to an office where you are treated well and the atmosphere is nice, but the comfortability of the office is no indication of the surgeons technique, expertise, or patient satisfaction level. Do not assume higher prices and swankier offices mean perfect results, nor should you assume that a low price is the quick and easy fix.

| Thanks robyne.
Why I ask: A few years ago I got a rhino from what I understood to be a "top" LA surgeon. I was fairly naive, and just hoped everything would happen perfectly. I paid around ten grand and was dissatisfied with the results. (Not that it was botched; just that he refused to tackle the more technically challenging aspects and insisted all he could really do was a simple "shave and trim.")
I came away thinking, well, I guess I got what I paid for; either he reserves the truly personalized service for those with mega-bucks, or there is a hidden "upper class" of talented surgeons accessible only to celebrities and the wealthy.
There is much more internet research available nowadays, and I do believe I can eventually find someone who can give me what I'm looking for, for a nice "pedestrian" fee in the 15-20K range. |
