18 year old guy, insecure with nose/long face (pics)
 

yes I know face too long, nose too wide..What can I do to look better? Hairstyle, rhinoplasty, chin reduction? anything helps. thanks

Hi, I actually have a similar facial structure and am also a young guy. I use to have a buzz cut like that too growing up and I found that having long hair is the best trick to make your face look wider. When you have a long shaggy haircut and keep it long on the sides too the difference is like night and day. I even try and style my hair on the sides so it flips out a little bit (in a messy natural looking way) to even exaggerate that. You should definitely try this. Have you always had your hair short?

By the way when I say a long haircut I don't mean it has to be like as long as a girls hair lol I just mean like 3 to 5 inches.

hey thanks for the reply, and yes i have always had the buzzcut, unfortunatley my hair is thick and straight so its hard to style, was thinking about growing it out, but just never did it because of sports (long hair gets in the way) how long does it take, and would I need a stylist to shape it up every month or so, so it doesnt look terrible when i grow it out

Ooo you have pretty blue eyes! If youre going to do long shaggy hair I always love the Zac Efron look and you have the eyes to match for sure :p

Hi, I feel like my face is to long as well. Now that I've said that, if you feel the same way about your face like I feel about my face, heres what my assment is for you. (not that you need it, you look fine the way you are, but here goes...oh, and let me know what you think.).... chin reduction, jaw (angle/sides) implants, upper lip lift, bring the collumla (cant spell, its the middle part of your nose, right above the lips) down, refine the tip of your nose just a little, maybe small upper cheek implants.
Ok, like I said before, your fine the way you are, BUT I personally want all this done to my face to make it appear shorter because it is long. So, if your looking to make it look shorter, you might consider what I have writtien. Let me know what you think. I think I need some pointers as well. Anyways, good luck!

Just wanted to say that you're actually very attractive. I know how it feels to be insecure about your looks. Try your best to focus on what you do like about yourself (not just physically). You do have beautiful eyes and nose too. Handsome masculine face.

You're a very attractive young man. I think a goatee looks really sexy on a lot of guys...it shortens the face a little, but depending on how you trim, it can also make your face look slimmer and older. I would definately suggest growing your hair out some. If your hair grows straight...you can add high/low-lights for a dramatic effect with more volume and depth. You can style longer bangs across your forehead, and parted to one side. And your hair should be long enough to reach the nape of your neck, in a chunky and 'touseled' style. Yes, it will require some maintenance, especially since you're into sports, etc...but I've learned that hair really does make a big difference to someone's appearance. BTW...as far as I can tell, you don't need surgery!
