Anyone find a surgeon does better rhinoplasty on females than males and vice versa? I think female rhinoplasty tends to be easier since so many "styles" work on a woman's face. When it comes to men their masculinity must be maintained with the surgery. From looking at doctors websites I've found that some doctors do females fine but their male patients look too feminine after their nose job. My big pet peeve is when a doctor takes a guys nose and makes it too small I think men shouldn't go for little button noses UNLESS they were naturally born with one. Meanwhile other doctors do a great job on both males and females so I don't know. |
Good point BlueSky. I've noticed that too. A guys nose is harder to pull off I think, I like my men a little rugged so when they get rhino I don't think they should be given a cute little tiny button nose like the ladies get. |
yeah you definitely don't want a ski slope nose on a guy! Waaay too many doctors do that. |
Males generally also have stronger cartilage than females which is harder to work with. This may be another factor as the differences in quality of results between genders. |
Females are easier to do because ski slope noses, etc still may work even if they aren't ideal. When it comes to males, ski slope noses definitely don't work. Guys look best with straight noses that are still masculine look, not too small. Don't do a Bruce Jenner nose job! |
