Hey,
I wanna know the risks of Asian Rhinoplasty. I heard some surgeons implant Silicone and it may later turn in to infections. is there other methods that have less risks? please let me know. I am planning to have a Rhinoplasty surgery.

Hi Edenwalker, let me just tell you my opinion regarding Asian Rhinoplasty. As far as I know, all types surgery demands a certain amount of risk. But risks can be minimized so long as you do your homework and pick a good surgeon. I had my rhinoplasty done by a very good doctor, Dr Rino Lorenzo, a Filipino cosmetic surgeon. What I did prior to surgery was explain in details to the good doctor what I wanted and how I like my nose to look like. It very important that you and your surgeon is on the same page.

By the way, with Asian Rhinoplasty, recent advances in nasal surgery have developed that allows all natural tissue to be used consistently to build up the tip and bridge of the your nose without resorting to the use of foreign body implants such as gortex or silicone.
