I want a nose job but don't quite know what surgery I'll be asking for.
Partially because I don't know what shape my nose is because the only comments I've recieved are ''big'' and ''ugly''.
So an honest opinion on my face in general would help.

It just ruins whatever is good about my face. I love my cheekbones but that's about it.

I think I want the tip lessened as it is quite large, and I think I want the bridge flatter on top as it seems to stick up.
I want it to be quite defined and straight, but the very tip can't be too flat.

I clearly know what I'm talking about.

hi there.
you seem to know what you don't like about your nose and what you would like to change - that's the first step in the right direction.
When i started thinking about Rhino, I had no idea either. The best thing to do is go talk to a couple of surgeons. They will explain what's possible and what can be achieved (and what not). I would talk to 3 maybe 4 or even 5 different surgeons, they will all mention other aspects and have different opinion on things and it's good to collect ideas. Then choose the surgeon you feel most comfortable about.

They'll take casts of you, then, if they'll skilled sculptors as well, they'll work with you to resculpt your nose/face on the 2nd cast (keep one as an original reference). I think you should be happy with what you have got, remember none of us is perfect. But if you have set your heart and mind to give it a 'better' shape then the best person to ask would be a qualified surgeon.

there's nothing to be happy with. It's like, got to be one of the ugliest noses I've ever seen, if not the ugliest. I can't live with it now, and never have been able to, so I'm not going to live with it for the rest of my life.

I have a similar nose to yours, it's a little too large for my face. I wasn't sure what I wanted to have done, but I knew what I didn't like. I went to a surgeon who sent me a digital image of the intended outcome and it is much better then anything I could have come up with. He is planning on making mine more feminine by performing some tip refinement and shortening my nostrils. I would recommend meeting with someone who does noses that you like. From there they should be able to help you with the rest.

PS I don't think you have an ugly nose but I can see why you would want it cuter.

I think your profile is not too bad, You have a slight bomb which could be easily removed; but at least your tip does not droop down and is projected up a little, which is good. With the hump removed, your nose will look beautifully straight from the profile view (I don't think you should make it scooped).

The tip of your nose is a little bulbous (as mine) and a good surgeon can really sculpt it well and make it more refined and thinner than it is. But make sure you tell your surgeon exactly what you want.

Also, keep in mind, that it could take up to a year to start seeing a desired result of overall shape of nose, but for the tip the swelling could take up to two years to see the final result. I mean, you will see that tip will be smaller than the original size, but it might still look big even after a year has passed since a surgery. (of course if refinement of tip was done). I am almost 1 year and 4 months post op, and my tip still looks a bit bigger than i wanted it.

With rhinoplasty one has to be patient - but time flies, so you won't even know where a year went...
