Hey everybody,


My first Rhinoplasty was three years ago and I was not happy with my results. my nose was very bulbous and had bone stick out and press against the underlying skin on the bridge of my nose, so I had a revision done about 12 months after my first surgery. Now it has been 2 years since my last revision and I am still concerned about the tip of my nose. My nose still looks very bulbous and I try to keep telling myself its still recovering and has swelling, however its been two years shouldn't my nose have fully recovered and taken its final shape? If so I am definately concerned as it is not the way I want my nose to look. I am sure some of you have gone through similar situations. I made an appointment with my surgeon to discuss a possible third revision. However i am concerned if a third revision is going to be a mistake. I do not want my nose to be worse off after the third revision than it is now. It is permanent surgery after all and I have heard horror stories about certain individuals nose collapsing after a third revision and so forth. I am going to post pictures. The first picture is before the surgery. The second picture is about 12 months after my first surgery. The third and fourth is about 6 months after my second surgery. Hi Alison,

I'm by far no expert, but in my humble opinion, I'd just leave it as is. You're a very pretty girl and perhaps you can try focusing on your other feautures. I made the mistake of trusting my doctor who made it sound like what I wanted was a piece of cake, never explained any risks and as it turns out, I discovered that he lied to me about the before and after rhinoplasty photos that I believed to be his work. My point is, that unfortunetly, for the sake of money...people, including doctors, will tell us what we want to hear in order to take our money. I've read a lot of posts from people who regret their primarys or revisions or both. I certainly wish I could turn back the hands of time and be happy with my old nose....at least it looked like a nose and not a beak. I paid a lot of money and I've never looked worse. If you do get another, please take your time finding a good doctor and do lots of homework. I've grown a deep appreciation for those who can accept their flaws and use the most beautiful asset we all have which is our smile.

And by the way, your last picture looks great...I'm sure there are a lot of girls who wish they had your looks.

well...if you can see my nose you will celebrate you have that sniffer kidding aside..you look fantastic! really... don't bother getting another surgery. you are awesome!

Honestly wait for all the swelling to go down. I think that most of us see a nose and say I want one just like that. However that's not possible. You can only get the "personal best" result. A year after my surgery my nose continued to shrink. If you are super unhappy. I would consult other specialist and see what they offer. Hope that helps
