I live in Australia and am considering travelling to the US for a tertiary rhinoplasty. I have done some research and am still trying to decide between which surgeons and would like some help. This surgery is probobly my last chance to get this right and I would appreciate any advice people can give me.
From my research the Dr's that I like so far are Dr Calvert, Dr Frankel, Solieman and Litner and Dr Denenberg - Omaha (I really like his pictures but have read some bad reviews?)
Anyone that can help me or give me the names of some additional doctors or personal experiences with any of these doctors would be a great help,
Thanks so much : )
see my reply tonight to another post - you need to add Dr. Le to your choices of surgeons for revision.
Thanks for the reply,
I have read a lot about Le but have seen hardly any pictures which makes me apprehensive about travelling all the way to Maryland for a consultation without any evidence of his good work. Obviously it is easiest for me to travel to LA as there are direct flights there but if there is someone better somewhere else I am willing to go there; but only if I find they are better suited for my case over any of the Dr.'s in LA.
I have heard some good things about Dr Gruber in San Francisco - should I add him to my list and does anyone have any experiences to share about Dr Gruber or even Thomas Le?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you : )
Millie, Who did you end up using for your revision? I am considering Dr. Gruber for a primary rhinoplasty so I was wondering if you met with him. Thanks, KB
You can look at this list.
Nose Revision Surgery and Surgeons: January 2010
Not sure where you are getting your info. on S & L. These guys have a very bad rap. They left me with a saddle nose deformity. They are the least compassionate people I have ever met in my life. Scary. Stay away!!!!! Check out filtered reviews on Yelp!!! They are either in denial are something much worse. Thank God for the 1st Amendment. I hope I help someone.
I totally agree. Avoid S&L. They are super nice and have a great website and you think everything will be great but I am miserable after my nose job. I look awful and now I have to pay more money to get this redone. My breathing was also compromised. I wish I would have seen the other negative reviews sooner. I am sure some people had good results but the bad ones are adding up ....
Although cosmetic procedures are improving each year, there are still thousands of cases of revisions, especially for a woman's breasts. There are plenty of doctors out there performing cosmetic procedures, but they aren't certified, board regulated and possess no standards or respect for the artistry of aesthetic alterations to the human body.penny auctions
