Hello Sara I just wanted to warn you to please go gentle with any exercising this soon after surgery. Although we desire to get back to our routine workouts, they do unfortunately causes additional swelling.

Thank you for the heads up! I haven't gotten back into running yet as it isn't time yet for that. :-) I walk uphill and do light weights and it doesn't make me swell any more than is already there. I don't swell much from exercise, I know this because I went through the same type of thing when I had my jaw surgery and dealing with the crazy facial swelling from that :-)

A quick question for you though: When are the internal stitches supposed to be dissolved enough that I can pull them out? The strings inside are holding onto all kinds of dried crusty gross stuff and it clogs my nose holes :-P
