Hey Everyone! I have been lurking the boards for awhile now and am having a very hard time deciding on who I want to perform my revision rhinoplasty. I am torn between Andrew Frankel and Solieman and Litner... I need my tip derotated. My nostrils are uneven and my columella is crooked, cant breathe well either. Frankel seems to be great with tips but I havent talked to many patients of his..Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

Be weary of Solieman and Litner reviews that you read online. They have "trolls" that post for them. Yes, these people may have had surgery with them but I suspect they also get paid / get perks to advertise for them. IMO, any doctor that advertises like a maniac should be avoided, as any good doctor will only need word-of-mouth promotions to rake in business. When I first started looking for surgeons, I was considering traveling across the country to S&L, and then I researched and saw what they were doing what appears to be mass-advertising, so I stayed far away (and on this side of the country!).

I had surgery with Dr. Solieman and Dr Litner. I have to say I fell hook line and sinker to their friendly spiel, great bedside manner, beautiful before and after photos and seemingly knowledgeable understanding about revision rhinoplasty. I don't really want to go into details about my particular case as it is ongoing and I am waiting resolution. I am writing because when I first went to them I never saw any bad reviews and they were so friendly and easy to talk to. In the end though, their talk does not match their technical skill. I feel part of the problem is that they are taking on too many clients and rushing through surgeries and not paying close enough attention to overall aesthetic appeal. They have no answer as to why my nose is not turning out as they had hoped. In the meantime I am left looking hideous waiting for things to heal or enough time to pass so I can lodge a formal complaint. It seems others are quite happy with their work and your surgery will come out fine..... or you may end up in my shoes- so just be prepared. They are really nice and easy to talk to, but nice only goes so far.

I am so sorry about what happened to you. I am still in search for a revision rhinoplasty surgeon. I had a consultation with S&L but talked to a few recent unhappy patients, so I took them off my list. They seem to inexperienced to be performing revision rhinoplasty. They were really nice but when it comes to surgical skill, I don't think they have done enough revision rhinoplasties for me to trust them withy face. I also loved the website. Rhinoplasty seems to be a gamble. I wasn't happy with my primary and I almost feel that having a revision is not gonna make me any happier. Hang in there, I know too well what your going through. We are our own worst critics though. What don't you like about it?
