Hi,
the first few months post-op you have to be really careful not only with your sleeping, but in general. You don't want any incidents. For the first three weeks after your surgery you will sleep on your back and your head must be elevated on three pillows. Not only do you want the person sleeping next to you to be careful, but yourself as well. They don't want you sleeping on your side or face being pressed against a pillow to interfere with the healing process. To me sleeping on 2-3 pillows and on my back was uncomfortable. But you will live through it.
Goodluck with your surgery.
Now...if your bf has some crazy moves in bed while sleeping, maybe don't sleep next to eachother the first few weeks. I didn't have a problem with my husband sleeping next to me, and honestly I never thought about it.
And you should ask your doctor this question!!! |
