My guess would be augmenting that bottom of the nose (columella) would be nearly impossible. I'm not a doctor but that's just my guess.
He told me that if there is a bony point in the base of the nose,it means that cartilage from septum was chopped off, even in his website there is info about this,,it is a surgeon in Los Angeles,,can give you his web site if you want to see it..

Columella was filled with something for sure, it lost the definition from tip to columella,,nose looks rounder rather than having a bit of pointy tip which for me (and a Mediterranean) is nnormal as I am not ethnic.

Default Can you help me please?

Can you please help me?

I want to start gathering comments of unhappy patients from Dr. Nassif and collect them in one website forum. By this customers can be informed and challenge him. Do you know which website he does not have access to so that they cannot be deleted by him? Is the PlasticSurgerySpot forum safe in the sense does he have access to it?

Thank you v much. I really do apprecieate your help...

Are you asking if Nassif runs this forum? That's highly doubtful.

Instead of going on a campaign to ruin this guy (he's doing a great job on his own - trust me), how are you going to resolve your issue?

There are much better ways of getting your message out there as well. PM me.

Dear Robney,

What do you mean by: "(he's doing a great job on his own - trust me),"?

I really do not know how I will resolve the issue. Think have to live with it

What can I do to get my message out there in other ways please? I do not want to ruin this guy, not at all, but people should be informed about him. It is unfair on us.

I said he's doing a great job of ruining himself, as many people are extremely unhappy with the results and/or treatment they have received from the less than professional Nassif.

PM me for further info about getting your message out there.

Default this is all so confusing...

Hi - After reading all the posts in this thread - I am more confused than when I began.

I am thinking seriously about getting surgery on my nose. I have a slightly wide bridge and a slightly bulbous tip and have a limited passageway in my left nostril...perhaps due to being hit by a baseball in the nose when I was younger. It is by no means a disaster nose but I would love to find a perfect surgeon to refine it conservatively. I will travel anywhere in US although I live primarily in LA and NY and can easily travel to Chicago and Miami. It seems like every surgeon with great reviews has an equal amount of avid enemies and unsatisfied customers. On top of that it is so hard to trust the posts when there seems to be wars between the docs themselves. Is there a published list of top surgeons out there? a truthful, statistically backed list that is not subject to false advertising?
I feel so sad after reading all the posts from unhappy customers...it seems like no one is ever fully satisfied with the nosejob...especially a few years down the line. Is it that hard to find a surgeon with perfect results, a good reputation and a nice attitude?

I have been dreaming about this for 15 years and now I have finally saved enough money to get this done but I cant seem to find a doctor to trust...any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

As depressing as it may be, what you have said is largely correct The so called top rhinoplasty surgeons aren't always so, because it is a business just like anything else... marketing and advertising (often deceptive) can skew the real answers.

On the bright side, if you are willing to have your rhinoplasty in LA, NY, Miami, or Chicago, that is where most of the best rhinoplasty surgeons are located. Although I do not have a definitive answer, if you post some pictures, myself and Robyne00 (another unbiased and extremely knowledgeable member on this forum) should be able to recommend several of the top contenders for your circumstances.

Yes, definitely post some pics (profile as well as frontal), and la_angel, Perhaps Mr. Z and myself might be able to give you some great recommendations. Do not be discouraged!!!

Talk to others who have gotten the surgery IN PERSON. This is important as many online advisors have their own personal agenda (i.e.: promoting themselves while posing as a patient, promoting their boss, husband, or friend, or even trying to steer people away from the competition due to personal vendettas). Be very careful with online consults as well. Visit several surgeons until you find the one YOU feel comfortable with. Take the surgeon's expertise into consideration, but do not allow a surgeon to do what he or she wants. Do your research. This is your face we are talking about!!! It's worth it.

Also remember, there are no guarantees, as every case is individually dependent. Never rush into anything. Do not assume higher prices and equal great perfect results, nor should you assume that low prices mean a quick and easy fix.

Good luck and let me, as well as the other forum members know if you need more info.
