hey all~
just wanted to add my two cents ... dr. nassif is great at marketing and putting himself out there in a very attractive light. i don't really know much about his skills in rhinoplasty though, since i've never had surgery with him, nor do i personally know anyone who has ...
BUT, i do know a facial plastic & reconstructive surgeon who has been doing face reconstructions for the past 20+ years. his background is in ear/nose/throat, so he's got a much different perspective on the financial side of plastic surgery. anyhow, dr. michael schwartz is in pasadena, ca (about a 20 minute drive from dr. nassif's office) and i've known a few people who have had their nose done with dr. schwartz -- including myself. he does a really good job.
i'd highly highly recommend talking to a surgeon like dr. schwartz before being "sold" by good public relations and marketing.
i've actually been working for dr. schwartz for the past 8 months, doing videos productions of some of his work. we first met at my consultation to have my nose done, which i am very pleased with. and he's a great guy with a great personality ... very enjoyable to be around.
but if anyone's interested, dr. schwartz's website is
www.drmichaelschwartz.com ... and he also has a video of mine up on youtube of an open rhinoplasty that he did (the video is sped up to be 10 minutes in length, but the full surgery is shown without anything cut out). it's extremely interesting and educational ... anyhow, click this link to watch on
youtube.
and, i also apologize for not specifically noting my affiliation with dr. schwartz. i am the one who recorded and produced the videos of his surgeries ... and while i'm not usually on message boards promoting him as a surgeon, i do enjoy sharing his work with the world. once i found plasticsurgeryspot.com, i thought it would be fun to share this with your community. so i hope it is enlightening to anyone that is interested in learning how plastic surgeons actually do their work.
cheers!
