I am considering Dr Solieman and Dr Litner for a Revision Rhinoplasty, I am desperate to have my nose fixed but am very nervous about it going wrong again.

Hi

I'm thinking of going with them for my primary rhinoplasty.If you go on the makemeheal forum there is a few people who have been to them for revision surgery.I remember seeing two results that were really good.They seem to have a really good eye for aesthetic.And for improving on other surgeons mistakes.

Yeah I was looking into going with Dr Shah ,but what put me off was the results I saw on the mmh forum which I didn't think were all that great.Plus all the weird stuff with I think her username was wildorchid who seemed to be working for him.
I was also looking into Dr Le in Baltimore and Dr grigoryants and no doubt although Dr Le is very talented ,the idea of staying in baltimore didnt appeal to me and I think in my opinion he is more suited to revisions and as I am going in for primary I didnt want to be under general anaesthetic for as long as he proposed I would be.
Although Dr Grigoryants noses all seem very nice and, he was at the top of my list,his noses seem a little too upturned for my liking.
I have been going back and forth for some time with surgeons and doing a whole load of research.I am now 100 per cent sureI am gonna be going with the docs at profiles.I really like their aesthetic and can't find any negative things on them.And I like the fact that they don't have a one nose fits all approach.I have had two skype consults with them which went well and they also answered all questions and concerns I have about the op through email.My instincts are telling me they are the surgeons for me.I am gonna be paying my deposit on monday to be booked in to have it done in December.Very excited about it ,but also super nervous at the same time.

Thank you for your posts, I am feeling a bit more confident now that I am making the right decision in choosing Dr Solieman/Litner. Initially I was concerned that I couldn't find anything bad about them and I was wondering if they were too good to be true but after speaking with them on Skype and reading your comments I have decided I am going to see them in person for a second consultation and am hoping to book the surgery in before the end of the year. I am extremely depressed about the way my nose looks right now so I have to take that chance. I would still love to find someone who has already had primary or revision rhinoplasty with them.

I noticed a few of you were going to have surgery with S&L...did anyone have it yet and can give feedback?

Hi Marysu,

I did end up having surgery with Dr S&L and I will be going back for my 3 month appointment soon. I had revision rhinoplasty as my nose had been really messed up the first time by a different surgeon and the whole experience was so terrible that I had lost faith.

I was extremely nervous but desperate to have my nose fixed as I was so depressed so two years later and endless hours researching surgeons I decided to go with Dr S&L.

My experience with Dr S&L was totally different compared to the first time with another surgeon; they took their time explaining everything so that I was able to understand and made me feel confident that they could help me.

The day of surgery I was put at ease by Dr S&L and their anesthesiologist. After surgery their nurse looked after me until I felt well enough to go home and I got a phone call later that evening to check up on me. I went back to see them the next day to have my cast removed. I couldn't tell much what my nose would look like at this point, I was so swollen. A week later I went back to have some stitches removed and although my nose was still swollen a lot I could see a huge improvement already. My nose no longer stuck up in the air, was no longer twisted and the huge dent wasn't there anymore.

I know it has only been 3 months but since that day my nose has continued to improve and I no longer spend endless hours looking in the mirror obsessing over how much I hate my nose. I feel so lucky to have gone to Dr S&L, I was losing hope before. Dr S&L and all their staff have treated me so kindly both before and after surgery and I am so grateful to them for helping me.

Hi Tilly, would you be OK with telling us who performed your first rhinoplasty? I'm getting really nervous everytime I hear about a botched surgery. I had a consultation with Dr Solieman/Litner and I thought they were great but was put off by their few before/after photos. I'm know looking into other surgeons (Dr. Toby Mayer and Dr. Robert Kotler, both in Berveley Hills..) Please share with us who the first surgeon was..Thanks so much!

I am not sure if it would be fair or right for me to post the surgeons name on here. I can tell you he is not a surgeon from Beverly Hills nor is he a rhinoplasty specialist; in fact I don't think his name is ever mentioned on any of the rhinoplasty message boards online. He is based in San Diego and I partly blame myself for total lack of research for my terrible outcome the first time. The reason being was that I chose him based on a recommendation from a friend who had a very successful breast implant surgery. I was very stupid and did not realize that different surgeons specialize in different areas and thought that if he did such a great job on my friend then he would be able to do the same for me. Unfortunately for me I was very wrong. I doubt you will have ever come across him on your search, his website doesn't even show pictures of previous rhinoplasty, this should have been a red flag to me from the start but I never considered it could turn out wrong! Yikes I feel so stupid saying all this, knowing what I know now but I am sure I am not the first person to do this. I hope this helps

Hi,
I am having a consultation with L &S in about 2 weeks and have been to 3 other consultations as well and have searched the web endlessly. I read your post and it seemed your surgery went very well. This would be my primary and hope its my only one! I am hoping to have my surgery in late August, how is the recovery process are you noticeably swollen for weeks afterward?. Do you mind telling me how you paid ballpark at least?
