As Robyne stated, there should be no guesswork with plastic surgery. Unfortunately with rhinoplasty, it is the healing part which can be unpredictable for many. So I suppose it's about "guessing" whether or not your recovery will go as planned.

And yes, be careful of surgeons that try and give you what they want, not what you want. Some doctors are just plain bad and won't listen to what you say, but I think it's best to be as detailed as possible pre-op about what you want the results to look like.

Default Unhappy with result

ok its been 1 year and 2 months now since i had my nose job. im really sad becasue the tip of my nose is still hard/stiff and im pretty sure its scar tissue or it could be swelling but im not sure all i know is that the tip is hard and its making it look droopy. is there by any chance this will change or am i going to be stuck like this? has anyone had this happen to them and then there nose changed after afew months? When i touch the tip ofmy nose i can feel like a little hard ball right on the tip??
I really dont want to go through another nose job and im just hoping some how it change.

Any suggestions/opinions will be appriciated

After a year, swelling should not be present.

You might have to undergo a revision.

Can you post some before and after pics?

The major swelling will be gone by a year.

Why not post a new thread with pictures so we can give you our honest opinions about your nose?
