Question Out of state surgery

I'm confused about flying after rhinoplasty. Some articles say 1 week after the surgery, it's safe to fly. However, other articles say up to 3 weeks! I've been searching for a plastic surgeon here in Florida but have had no luck so far. I'm thinking of going to California but I'm trying to figure out how long I would have to stay there. Does anyone have experience with going out of state for surgery? Thanks

I guess every surgeon has their own "rules" about when to fly. Three weeks is an awfully long time, I can't imagine how a patient would be expected to easily slip away for a 3 week "vacation"

One week should be sufficient, but every individual scenario is different.
