Recovery from revision tipoplasty (Only tip revision)

Does anyone have an idea what the recovery process is like for a revision rhinoplasty to drop a tip. My tip was raised too high in my primary procedure and I would like that they only drop it back down a little. I wish I didn't have to but it's bothering me so much that I'm thinking a revision is the way to go. There will be no bone breaking, no work on the tip. I think it will involve shortening the graft that was placed in the collumellar. Will recovery be easier? Faster? Thanks a lot guys.

To "drop a tip" will still, require a surgical refinement procedure, which can be quite involved. I am not 100% clear about your post. No work on the tip to drop it? I beg to differ. Recovery from refinement will be easier than a full rhino, but there will be some recovery time.

Can you post some pics?

How long ago did you have your surgery? Is swelling present?
