| messed up looking nose Im new to this forum, Im from Fl and trying to make a decision this week on what doctor would be best for my messed up looking nose. This will be a primary and i am so lost on who to choose. I emailed my pics to a few dr's in LA, Fl and NY, also had several consultations.
I think i would prefer to have a doctor who is experienced with all the advaced rhinoplasty techniques so they can make the right choice as to what would be best to lower the right nostril rim. What do you think about Drs Litner/ Solieman or Dr Hilinski for my nose? has anyone had experience with these doctors. Id like to have the bridge straightened, the tip more defined, fix the deviated septum, lower right retracted nostril, fix hanging collumella. Do you have any doctor recommendations and why.
Thank you

| This might not be what you want to hear, but I don't think your nose looks messed up at all. It's always hard to judge it by just seeing the nose, after all the nose is PART of the face and has to fit the respective face. Don't shoot for a cookie-cutter nose from the catalogue. Just my 5 cents |

| Thanks but just look at it. its crooked in every direction the tip has no definition and one nostril is retracted. I posted a face pic and as you can see it doesnt fit my face. I think it's a really messed up looking nose and only the best docs will be able to fix it. If you or anyone has a recommendation of a Dr that does very good tip work and good with correcting retracted nostrils please let me know since im trying to make the best decision.
Im leaning towards Drs Litner/ Solieman right now because from what i researched they dont have any bad comments and some nice before and afters of some messed up noses like mine. but if you know of any reason why i shouldnt go with them please let me know or if you have had a nose job with a different Dr that you think can be very good in fixing my nose.
Thanks |

| Litner and Solieman are very into self promotion and "creating an experience" for the patients. Poor post-op care as well. I would avoid them at all costs.
I have seen mixed results from Hilinski.
Please PM me for recommendations.

| Hey Mike,
I actually have a nose very similar to yours due to a primary done in NYC several years back. Same nostril retraction, collumnellar issues and a bit of a deviation as well. I'm also in Florida!!!! Did you consult with anyone you liked down here? As I experienced negative post op with my first rhino I feel that post op care is important and obviously that is easiest to do closest to home. I have consulted with Bustillo, Davis and Steiger. Have you met with any of them? What did you think? Anyone else you are considering in Florida?
PM me if you want...

| I realize Mike is seeking a primary. He just happens to have a similar skewing and alar retraction to what I have going on with my nose. And he lives in Florida ... just wanting to see if he had any similar consultation experiences... |

| how to check if a surgeon is being sued? Is there a website one can go to to check if a surgeon you are considering has ever settled a lawsuit out of court, and/or if they have any pending lawsuits?
Which site is the one you can check any suits that WENT to court? That is probably the easiest, but I'm sure a lot of doctors settle out of court so as not to show up on public record as having been sued. Is there a way for us, as prospective patients to find out of court settlement details??
anyone know? |

| I think Dr Litner and Solieman's before and afters are really good and I like that they are all about "creating an experience" as long as it's a good experience with great results. I like that they are 2Dr 's, and I didnt see any bad reviews. Im still doing my research but they are still on my list. |
