Hi everyone.Thanks for reading my post. I'm Asian and I am trying to find a dr who deals with ethnic noses and who does bridge in the New York city area. I have been reading this forum and I see that most people want to make their nose small by rhinoplasty. I don't think I have that problem with my nose. As you can see from my pictures. My nose has no bridge, so it makes my face kind of flat and I hate my nose. I really appreciated if anyone would give me some names for a few drs who specializes in doing bridges or put cartilages on the nose (not sure what's it call) in the New York city area so i could look up and set up a consultation. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

You want to build up the bridge, correct? Any tip work? I would be concerned with your ala, alar groove, tip, and columella.

Well with asian rhinoplasty, building up the bridge is done quite frequently, so you're not alone in wanting that! Unfortunately I'm not too keen about who's best in that arena... sorry

Well thanks anyways. It's hard to find a dr who is an expert on reconstucting a bridge for me. I keep reading on this forums and others that they mostly do rhinoplasty and it's not for ethnic backgrounds. I am just afriad that I won't look like myself anymore. My boyfriend said I look fine, but I just don't like my nose. I only have enough money to do the surgery once and if a dr mess it up that's it. I don't even know what to do at this point.

Don't worry what your boyfriend says ... YOU have to live with YOUR nose!

If you're not happy with your nose, surgical improvement could help!
