The pictures in his office are the same posted online. I have to wait about 2 weeks before he emails me the imaging so I don’t really know how much different his plan is from Davis. That also prevented me from better discussing my surgery with him. I kept getting the feeling that his office is dedicated more for face lifts on older patients and procedures other than rhinoplasty. I have to admit that I felt a little bit out of place there but he was nice. Actually he was really, really surprised that I made the trip out to Tampa from Miami to consult with him. (???) He also made it seem as if he knows Davis on some personal level. He mentioned that if I’m unable to stay in Tampa for him to observe me Richard Davis would be one of the doctors he’d call to follow up with my progress. That would be a little bit awkward for me. I’m not sure if he was joking about that part or not. Either way I don’t know if I see myself doing this with Farrior. He was specific with some of his explanations on what he wanted to do but I’m more of a visual person. I would liked to have gone over the imaging during the consult.
Grigoryants is unfortunately out of the question for me because I simply don’t have enough to cover the travel costs and I think he only does implants for lip augmentation which is something I’m looking to do in conjunction with my rhinoplasty. Implants aren’t the way I’m going to go with.
This for the moment leaves me choosing between Stieger and Bustillo, unless Farrior sends me an image closest to what I’m looking for. I haven’t consulted with Bustillo. I want to ask for everyones opinion on how you would compare Stieger with Bustillo for primary rhinoplasty on “ethnic noses”. I know Lawoman asked something similar on another thread but she’s looking into revision.
Let me know if I should open up another thread for that question. Also, please feel free to PM your thoughts or suggestions.
