Default Bleeding inside nostril

I am 9 days post-op rhinoplasty and I have been using q-tips to clean my nose as needed. Well today I noticed I may have bleeding inside my nostril. It's not bleeding down, but with the q-tip I get little specks of bright red blood. What could this mean?? My surgeon is out of state, so that's out of the question. The exact location of the bleeding is inside the nostril, where the tip meets the nostril. Any info or advice on what I should do? It's not flowing out or anything, but i know it's there. Please help.

Hmm, well I do think bleeding inside the nose is fairly common that soon out after surgery. Why not give your surgeon a call and ask if you can't see him

You are right. It wasn't anything to be worried about, he asked me to just lay down with my head up for a few minutes and after a while the bleeding stopped
